Every great idea starts with a spark… and sometimes a splash. Ours started with a love of parties, a serious appreciation for a well-made cocktail, and one

very obvious gap in the market.

Before The Tipsy Petal was born, we were busy event planners, creating beautiful celebrations and unforgettable moments for other people. We loved the buzz, the creativity, and (let’s be honest) the drinks at the end of a long setup. But somewhere between styling tables and packing up fairy lights, we realised something was missing.

Why were cocktails always so complicated?

Spotting the Gap (With a Drink in Hand)

We noticed that while cocktails were everywhere, good cocktails that were quick, giftable, and genuinely delicious were not. We wanted something you could:

• Pour into a jar

• Add ice

• Shake

• Serve immediately

No muddling. No measuring. No mess. Just effortless cocktails in jars that taste like they’ve been made by a professional mixologist (without needing one).

And just like that, the idea for cocktails served in jars was born.

Mother, Daughter & a Lot of Taste Testing

One of the most special parts of The Tipsy Petal is that it’s built by a mother-and-daughter duo. What started as casual brainstorming quickly turned into afternoons of flavour testing, recipe tweaking, and… a few slightly tipsy creative sessions.

There were plenty of:

• “This one needs more citrus.”

• “What if we added a floral note?”

• “Okay… that one might be too strong.”

We had so much fun creating and adapting new cocktail flavours, experimenting with classic cocktails and reinventing them with our own twist. Many afternoons were spent laughing, sipping, shaking jars, and dreaming about what this brand could become.
